Not literally dorsal though, Gin Rummy has left behind is mentor so to say (Rummy) quite a few populaces behind. And it is still in the ongoing process. This is more so with the advent of the internet. What with the free practice sites around; anytime and anywhere.

The predecessor of Gin Rummy does not enjoy as much popularity as it’s contemporary.

Inspite of the game being banned in many nations, due to moral and ethical reasons; the game is indulged in. Gambling tourism is on the verge of rise and would continue to do so in the near future. The game is a severe form of addiction, to which there is no de-addition or de-tox. For many it’s easy come and easy go. It isn’t a problem with such fellas. The problem lies with persons, who want to try a hand at it. On a whim of fancy if you happen to play Gin Rummy, you’ll emerge a sorry mess. So if you happen to be an impulsive or instinctive person try and play with a friend around who is quite to the contrary. Atleast you’ll emerge coverall if nothing else. Remember that popular song by Kenny Rogers in which he sings “you got to know when to hold them and you got to know when to fold them” this could be expedited with an abstaining friend around.

Bad Moon rising

If your sixth sense says that a Bad Moon is about to rise, refrain from playing any form of gambling. This obscure; sixth sense which every one has, however only a few develop is for real. It has stood in good stead to many fervent gamblers around. You would find many fervent players around, who would vouch for this. They have made quite a lot of money; playing the game, however at times you would find them practicing total abstinence from it.

Too much

There’s a danger in loving something too much, especially gambling. By the same token people who have benefited by falling in love with game of chances would say otherwise. The thing is that one needs to be worldly wise. You should not end up saying to yourself I was all alive for a while, I could smile for a while. Why let a situation like this arise. The good Lord has given you a brain; just make the correct use of it. Put all your worth in Gin Rummy and you would not have to say such things to yourself. Its true nothing lasts forever,however you could prolong your happiness. You could do this by some intelligent investments of your winnings. Its simple as you sow; so you reap.
